Championship Course
The name Glen Arbour is taken from the Scottish to mean "a valley of trees" - the perfect name for the perfect site. Natural lakes, streams and mature forests with significant elevation changes make Glen Arbour what it is - a premium golf experience. When famed Canadian architect and amateur golfer Graham Cooke first walked this site, he knew he had a chance to create a spectacular golf course and in fact, he did.
The course meanders through the valley crossing several streams and proceeds adjacent to three very distinctly different lakes. Each hole is very different from the one before - all diverse and all memorable. Although you play through a housing development one would never know that you have neighbours. Mr. Cooke did a marvellous job of isolating the golf from the residents and from the other golf holes. He also keeps you very close with nature by utilizing the many surrounding natural features.
The round culminates with what has become our featured hole, the 18th a 565 yard downhill par 5. A two shot hole with a great vista of the valley, sandy lake and the clubhouse. What a way to end a perfect day.
